Lee Chong Wei didn't win the Olympic gold medal. But he's still our hero. He make 1Malaysia a reality in one match than Najib ever did in 5 years. He's the best!
As everyone knows, Baskin Robbins before this announced that they will give away their ice-cream for free if Lee Chong Wei wins the Olympic gold medal for Malaysia. Although he failed and just able to retain the silver, but still Baskin Robbins is willing to offer the free give away ice-cream to the Malaysians. Every Malaysian is entitled to one scoop of the ice-cream. The free ice-cream give away was on 8th of August (Wednesday) starting from 8pm until 10pm at all the outlets in Malaysia.
As usual, every Wednesday will be my busiest day in the whole week. I'll have to go for two tuition classes after school, which will be physics class in Melanie's house and sejarah class in a tuition centre. That morning in school, Siao Suan asked me whether I want to get the Baskin Robbins ice-cream give away after physics tuition. Before this, I talked to daddy about the free give away ice-cream thingy, and we both agreed that time is so much more precious than the BR, no point queuing up for so long just to get a scoop of BR ice-cream. But when Siao Suan asked me about that, I felt like going, so I said okay, haha. So when school dismissed, we went to Melanie's house for physics tuition, and planned to watch a movie before we started queuing up for the BR. After tuition, we went to the nearest mall from Melanie's house, which is Cheras Leisure Mall. Alice didn't get to go with us because she's not feeling well that day hmm #sadcase. So when we reached there, straight away we find our way to the cinema, bought tickets for the movie, Batman. Heard many people said it is fantastic, but it actually disappoints us all. Not nice one cheyyy. Okay there's a funny thing happened in the cinema. We bought popcorn and went into the theater, and when I sat on the seat, I told melanie and siao suan that my seat was a little bit slanted. Then melanie said when the movie starts, we just go and sit on the couple seat behind us, its empty hahaha. The advertisement part took quite a long time, before the movie starts, we'd already finish eating half box of the popcorn heheh. It was already halfway of the movie when I told siao suan I go and sit at the couple seat. So two of them decided to come and sit with me at the back. Three of us shared a couple seat HAHAHA. After half an hour sitting on the couple seat, I asked melanie: "you got feel that this couple seat started slanting?" then she say change to the next couple seat. HAHAHA after awhile three of us sitting on the second couple seat, I felt the seat slanting again, I don't know whether my butt got problem or three of us are too heavy or the seats problem, haha. Actually its really uncomfortable sitting on the slanting seat, my butt really very pain wtf, plus it was freaking cold in the theater, three of us were like freezing :S But I managed to sit still until the end of the movie heheh. After the movie, I asked them about the seats, siao suan agreed with me and I made myself a conclusion: my butt has no problem, its the seat, okayyy ;D well after the movie, it was already around 7.30pm. We walked out from the theater. Just when we reach the exit of the theater, there was a queue right in front of us, a serious long queue -.- we were like, eh what happen, then finally realize the people were already started queuing up for the free BR ice-cream. Omg seriously, the crowd was superb, the queue was long, very very long! These people were like very desperate for the ice-cream oh my gosh. We thought small mall like this wouldn't be so crowded, but then when we see the queue, we surrendered, decided not to queue, and we went to mcd for dinner. Talked alot of stuff, girls talk! :D After that we went back to BR again to see the crowd. Aiyor, still long queue ._. And some of them recorded the situation, and took pictures of the long queue. We gave up the idea of queuing up. Then melanie's parents came and fetch us, and drop me and siao suan at the LRT station. We both took LRT and went back to sri petaling. Glad that daddy was already there when I reached sri petaling, quite phobia of getting outside at late night after er jie's incident (she got robbed one night :O ). Its already 10.30pm when I reached home that day. Daddy said I am busier than him, 7am went out until 10.30pm only go back home, hahaha. What a day! ;D
